SAGA has been awarded a new contract by Ferrovienord to maintain the FNM network.
From October 2021 SAGA is carrying out maintenance on the FNM network, which runs through the provinces of Milan, Varese, Como, Novara, Brescia and Monza Brianza.
The project is part of a three-year framework agreement with Ferrovienord S.p.A., a company that is part of the FNM Group.
This work involves arc welding repairs to austenitic manganese steel frogs and built-up crossings with 60E1 and 50E5 rail profiles, both in track possession and off site.
